Depo problem ?

So I’ve stopped depo and it’s been a month i thought it would be out my system by now and everything would be normal because I’ve only had one shot but I’m still having irregular and long bleeding 🥺 I’ve been on my “period” for 9 days now !! Has anyone experienced this ?

I personally have never had any issues with the drop but alot of my friends and my cousin had terrible experiences on it. My cousin was bleeding for like a month straight and it messed up her period when she got off of it. My best friend bleed for a few weeks straight at one point as well and she kept bleeding even after getting off of it

This happened to me except it lasted over 3 months when I first got depo. I was so sick of it that I switched to the birth control pills and within 3 days at the most, my period stopped. I’ve been on the birth control pills for a few months now and I’m back to normal.
