Laparoscopic surgery
How did you finally get your doctor to do the surgery to see if you have endo? TTC for two years and no pregnancy. Three failed letrozole cycles and three failed IUIs. Was diagnosed with “possible adhesions” around my left ovary after HSG because during it my left ovary was higher than my right, other than that no diagnosis. No long painful periods, but I do have pain during sex with deep penetration. Feels like someone is stabbing me. Didn’t have much discomfort during sex until I went off of my birth control pill. I do believe I have endo just on the basis as I don’t think sex should hurt like that, I want to have a normal sex life, not just in the two positions that are comfortable for me. My Doctor doesn’t see why we should do surgery as he says it doesn’t increase chance of pregnancy much and I haven’t shown any polyps or anything else on ultrasounds. I rather do a laparoscopic surgery before spending thousands on

if we don’t have to. I just don’t know how to convince my doctor without having painful periods to do a laparoscopic surgey as I feel he won’t be convinced otherwise. How did you finally convince your doctor? I only have 2-3 possible chances at medically assisted help left to get me pregnant before they stop and tell me that

is the only option left. Please, any advice would be helpful on convincing my doctor? Also, considering getting a second opinion, do you think a male or female dr would be better or does it not matter? Right now I have a male doctor.
