Can your LO name letters by looking at them?

I ask my LO to spell his name, but he can’t. Wondering if your kids can yet.

Yes my 3 yr old can. Buying letter magnets from walmart to put on the fridge helped my LO a lot. We will play a game where I say a letter and she has to run to the fridge to get it and bring it back to me as quickly as possible.

My son can't spell his name on his own but he recognizes it and can point it out. He can also identify most letters but he makes mistakes too

He spells his name and a few others. 
The B-I-N-G-O song was helpful for us, especially with other names, like he learned to spell his brother’s name quickly (there was a boy who had a brother and Lukas was his name-o, L-U-K-A-S... and Lukas was his name-o). If there are too many letters, we squeeze them in there anyway!

He started with ABC's being able to read put the letters.  Seasame street helped a lot with that and super simple songs ABC song there is also the abc phonics song.  Not only did we watch video we would listen to it.  So he understood letters.  
He can spell his name we are working on writing and sounding out words. I found a youtube show that is called early readers we also started watching between the lions for him to learn more.  
Just play.  We have an alphabet puzzle that he loved (still loves but some of the letters are missing).  Start simple with the ABC's, use flash cards (found some at dollar tree that are little people).  Your kid will learn more if its fun.

Yes - a few months ago he recited the alphabet in full which I could NOT BELIEVE because he never showed ANY interest when I would say the alphabet every day of his life LOL 🤦‍♀️ And since then we read his alphabet book every night before bed. He knows his letters now, and now are working on sounding out words 📚

My son is good with letter recognition but we haven't worked on his name as much. If you search for "busy toddler name recognition" she has a few activities using dot stickers and their names on paper on the wall that look fun and helpful.
