Today is my birthday and I get to share this wonderful day with my daughter! I was due June 25th.

I woke up this morning at 4:45 in a puddle of fluid-my water broke.

I got up, woke up my husband and took a shower. We had to pack a few more things, as we hadn’t finished our packing thinking we had a little more time.

We called the doctor, got ready and went in to L&D. At my last appointment baby girl was breech, so I was hoping she flipped so I could labor and deliver vaginally.

NOPE! This little girl had her own plan! She was still breech and therefore, we had to deliver via c-section. Not part of our plan but we had to go with the flow!

Jhené was born at 8:39 am and weighs 6lbs 9oz- 19.5 inches long. We are both doing great. 😊

Family video called us later that day to sing happy birthday to us! We had originally planned on having a social distance “cook out” with my immediate family today. They lit the candles to the cake while singing to us, and it was so special.

We are still in shock that she is here, and completely in love with this bundle! 💕
