So I’ve made a couple of posts about my new look (shaving my head) and obviously by now I’m used to getting a few looks here and there. But I just thought I’d share what I’ve just experienced.

My fiancé and I were sitting down enjoying a date night because we don’t have them very often. This other man came out of the bathroom that was close by and literally looked me up and down and judged me HARD. He starred so long that I actually made eye contact with him. Honestly this is one of those things that I learned to laugh off because I refuse to let myself become bitter because other people don’t like how I choose to look.

You’d be surprised how often I’ll be in the store and people will go out of their way to judge me and take the time to stop and look.

I will not let myself hold my head down and let these people win. Because at the end of the day I love the way I am; and the person I’ve become; and how far I’ve come in MY journey of self confidence 💕
