Hey all, can I hear from people who have done

and been successful when the male has an existing varicocele? Hubby has one and our specialist recommended an embolisation but said it wasn't essential. We decided to focus on buying a house and chose to not pay for the surgey which is quite pricey in New Zealand. We've heard the results are very hit or miss, some people have even said it made the situation worse.

We've been given our start month for

<a href="https://glowing.com/glow-fertility-program">IVF</a>

in August and I'm now second guessing our decision to not get the varicocele embolisation done.

Is there anyone who had this and still did

<a href="https://glowing.com/glow-fertility-program">IVF</a>

without the repair and had success?

Is there anything else we can do to help boost his count and motility in the time we have?

Background: I (31) came off birth control in November 2017 and have been actively been trying since Feb 2018 with no luck. Hubby (42) has two kids from a previous marriage the youngest just turned 13 and he was diagnosed with a varicocele a year ago.
