I got my period during sex

So my boyfriend and I were doing the deed and I got my period. Due to the position (missionary) it got all over him, me, his shirt and my shorts (it was a quicky and we had a busy day so we didn’t have much time and the shorts were loose enough to move over and give him access) I was so embarrassed but he didn’t have a reaction, i gave him a shirt of mine to wear and he let me keep his shirt even after I got the blood out (he gives me a lot of his sweatpants, tshirts, hoodies, hats, etc.) and after while we were cuddling I asked him if he was grossed out ,he said no and how periods are natural. honestly I’m so lucky to have him, he’s amazing, if I ask him to get me a tampon out of my bag or something (like if I’m already in the bathroom or something) he always does it even if it’s infront of his friends and I just don’t get how I can be this lucky
