Just friends or youre befriending them to flirt? What’s the friendship like, do you spend a lot of time with them? It’s normal to find other people attractive whilst in a relationship, what isn’t is being dishonest and hurt your partner as a result. If you feel there could be a bit more than just friendship you’re not being honest with yourself in the first place and threading on dangerous territory. Don’t do to others what you don’t want done to you.

Sweetie my theory is is don’t play with fire. If you were attracted to them or feel that you may cheat, or that you have other intentions of flirting with this person etc., that’s not fair to your boyfriend. If you are just friends and nothing comes of it that’s a different story. But if you have the intention of messing with this person or flirting with this person, that’s an appropriate for a relationship. It’s better to leave the relationship and be with the other person then to give that person the anxiety of you cheating that’s not fair to them.￼ my best friend of 30 years is a man, he is a very good looking man which can make some of my boyfriends insecure. Most of my friends are men some of them are exes, some of them wish I would date them which would never happen, they know they are in the friend zone I called him buddy and pal. But I have no desire to be with anyone except the person that I am with. If I felt the desire to be with someone else, then I should not be with my partner. When I first started dating my guy, I told him about my best friend and I said is that gonna be a problem for you. He told me he could be jealous at times but my question was is that gonna be a problem for me. He said no. I said he has no reason to trust me, I tell him everything on my face and ask, if I see a friend, if I spend time with family, he knows everything I have nothing to hide.￼￼When my best friend started dating the woman that he’s with now, they have two children together, she thought I was the enemy or competition. And I know she didn’t like me in the beginning. But many years later, she knows that I am not after her man and I talk to her sometimes more than him. I talk to her and ask her know if I’m gonna come by the house as to not intrude on their life. There’s boundaries and respect. I’m not trying to break up the relationship or interfere etc. most women feel like I’m a threat and feel insecure. His previous ex from his early 20s hated me. So I kept away so I didn’t have to deal with her bs. No one likes her in his family. But like I said if you have the intention of cheating or flirting with this person then you probably should not be in a relationship and be respectful of your partner.
