Newborn, but not for long. But worth noting that while my kids were 7-8 lbs (7lbs 12 oz and 7 lbs 2 oz), they were also really short (17.5 inches and 19 inches.)

My 7lb 15 oz baby grew out of newborn within a week some stuff didn't even fit him at birth

My biggest was 8lbs 13oz and she was in newborn for at least a month

Preemie clothes surprisingly 😂 newborn clothes were way too big on her (exactly 8 pounds at birth) . For like the first 2 1/2 weeks or so she fit into preemie clothes and then she could fit newborn and 0-3 month clothing around 3 weeks
