Prodromal labor

FTM. Painful contractions every 3-5 min since 2am last night. Couldn’t sleep all night. Went in at noon today, 1.5cm which is a change from the half centimeter I’ve been for weeks. But my contractions spaced out when I was there and labor stalled. Sent home. Tons of bloody show especially after being checked twice. It’s been 9 hours since I left the hospital and they’ve been every 5 minutes at home. Just went to the bathroom and saw this big mucus plug. Could this mean I’m more dilated now?
