I just took plan b and I realized my period starts in 8 days. It is still gonna be effective?

If you took plan b correctly, within the first 72 hours, preferably sooner than later, your period coming makes no difference.

What matters is when the unprotected sex occurred, the sooner you take it within the 72hrs after sex the better. It's not 100% but you should be fine since you arent in your ovulation window anyway.
