Is it safe to douche with water?

After my period or if I have a lot of discharge I like to douche with water. Is this going to throw off my PH? Thanks!

You shouldn't really have to douche. The vaginal canal cleans itself. The only place you should be putting water is the vulva. To douche with anything will cause your PH to go off and will open you to bacterial and yeast infections.
