Gerber Puffs?

FTM and I don’t know if it’s appropriate to buy my 7.5 month old those gerber puffs yet. Does anyone else let their baby eat them? I’m just terrified of her choking 😬😬

My girl loves them, She sucks on them and mushes them. Some choking is a normal part of figuring out how to chew and swallow food. As long as they don’t try to swallow the big piece those puffs just dissolve right away

I’ve been giving them since 6 months but it wasn’t until this week that he’s really seemed to enjoy them and chew them without letting them fall out of his mouth. It’s also been good practice for the pincer grasp!

My baby eats puffs, yogurt bites, and those teething wafers. She’s been doing it since she was 6 months old and she loves them. When I first started giving her puffs she got constipated so now I ration them throughout the day and make sure she doesn’t have to many.

I’ve been giving them since he started solids. I just cut them him half when he was smaller. He’s almost 7 months old and eats them on his own, we still sit right there to make sure he doesn’t choke, but he is good with them.
