What medicine helped you the most?

Hi everyone! I have suffered with anxiety and depression for years! It started during my early teenage years. I use to be on Lexapro and 2 other pills for it, but they caused me to gain like 20 pounds. Stupid that I quit, I know, but I had been doing better. Recently it has gotten bad again.. I go tomorrow to get new medicine. What medicine helped you most? I would like to find one that would cause weight loss.

I take Wellbutrin for Depression, Latuda for Bipolar and Klonopin for Anxiety. It was a good combo for me. I lost 50 lbs on that combo after the birth of my daughter but was also breastfeedingso IDK if the meds helped or the nursing or a combo of both. Ive heard Wellbutrin is good for weight loss, helps curb appetite. Right now thats all I'm taking because I'm pregnant. Without the other meds I feel like Wellbutrin increases my anxiety though so that kinda sucks.

Have a genetic test done if possible. The one I took gave 40+ pages of analysis and what meds worked best with my Genes. I have a genetic mutation I found out about through this process that explained my terrible reactions to a lot of the meds I had tried

Wellbutrin. Its an snri instead of ssri. Ssris tend to have weight gain as a side effect. Wellbutrin helps with binge eating disorder. Helps you feel full and stop eating. I binge ate while depressed. I gained 60 pounds. After being on wellbutrin for a little over a year I lost 50 pounds of that. I stopped wellbutrin about 2 years ago and kept that weight off.

Prozac (fluoxetine) helped me. 
I was prescribed sertraline (zoloft) first and that made me feel constantly nauseous so i hardly ate unless i forced myself i lost weight and in general felt loads worse physically so the doc prescribed prozac instead and it helped loads better, my anxiety kinda melted away and so did the depression afterwards.
