Tips to smell nicer down there

So my boyfriend never goes down on me or fingers me. I’ve given him head a handful of times. We had sex once. I know about his sexual history. I once asked him why he’s never given me oral and he said cause it hurts him and the hair gets in the way and he just doesn’t prefer to do it.

Well this morning that thought crossed my mind again. Why has he gone down on/fingered his past partners and he hasn’t done any of that to me so I asked him why. If it was cause my vulva is puffy or he just doesn’t roll that way anymore. He told me it was because the first (and only time) we had sex there was a smell and he didn’t wanna hurt my feelings so he didn’t say anything. But he actually did say something afterwards and I heard but I guess he thought I didn’t hear it.

I don’t smell fishy or gross or anything horrible my scent is just kinda strong and it got stronger during sex. And now I feel even more insecure about it because that was one reason why I’ve been anxious to receive oral cause he would think I smell or taste bad. I shower every other day and on my non shower days I still clean my vulva with water and a cloth like I’ve read to do.

So now I hurt my own feelings by asking and him telling me the truth lol. Does anyone have tips on how I can lessen the smell or smell nicer?
