Can someone explain what BIPOC means?

I know poc means people of color. I’m guessing the B is black but I’m not understanding the I or why it is used. Thank you.

I think it’s black identified person of color. So someone who identifies as black who is a person of color. I’m guessing it’s used for those who are mixed and for those who are Afro Latinx
