What do you call your significant other when your not married?

So I don’t plan on ever being married, it’s not really my cup of tea. At the same time I don’t want to call my significant other my boyfriend forever, it just doesn’t seem right. I want to call him my husband but I don’t want to get married. What do y’all call your significant others that you’re not married to?

My guy, my dude, my love, my other half, my significant other, my baby, my partner, the man in my life, my man, my lover, my honey etc. I actually rarely call him my boyfriend come to think of it.

I would just call him your husband, honestly. While common law marriage may not be legally recognized wherever you live, there’s nothing stopping you from just calling each other husband and wife.

I’ve been with my man for 7 years are are “engaged” for 5 of those years! Lol it’s always been one thing after another since he’s asked... we are 3 kids and a farm deep. I don’t see what the big deal of a huge wedding is?! So I’m in the same boat of not wanting to get married anymore. We’re happy with life as we have it so why change it. His family called us husband and wife and sometimes mine does too. We don’t correct them we just shrug it off.
I usually just call him my man or fiancé lol

I call him my partner. I wouldn't call him my husband as it's seems a bit daft in my eyes when neither of us want to get married, so wouldn't use the words associated with it either 🤷
