Bouncer - 4moms MamaRoo or another?

Hi all
I’m due in August and we’re looking at purchasing a bouncer at the mo. Our older son always needed to be held and loved movement, so for that reason we’ve been looking at the 4moms MamaRoo. Just wondering - is it as good as it’s claimed to be or a bit of a waste of money? We’re also looking at the Maxi Cosi Kori bouncer which is super basic but looks nice and comfy 🙂
Any opinions appreciated, thank you!

I’m due Dec and plan on getting one myself, I would definitely check out Facebook market place for a really good price on this item. I seen a few in my area for $150.

I’m due in Late July. I was bought this as a gift, (I really wanted it). Though I don’t have the baby experience with it yet, there are pros and cons to what I saw.
Obviously price, I hate spending a bunch of money when I know there are cheaper options, but this was the one thing I wanted to splurge on. Also, FYI, it is cheapest on their website. $220 vs $250.
Next, it was super simple to put together, not to bad to take apart either. There is nothing hard behind their back, so hopefully it is quite comfortable. The seat portion zips on, so it is easy to take on and off for washing purposes. The top and bottom also snap. Thought about getting a second one, but again, price....$40.
The mobile you see at the top, the little balls just push into it. One has a mirror, one has a rattle, and one is crinkle. They are snug, but could take it out for baby to play with also. It also comes off very easy if you don’t want it on there at all.
The movement, it goes for barely anything to what I feel like would give a kid whiplash (lol), just seems fast. It has 5 different speeds.
The sounds are also 5 different volumes. There are also 5 sounds. You can play your phone through it as well, however, that is only with an six cord, not Bluetooth. They do provide the cord though, it is very short (maybe 6”). The power cord is also very short.
Lastly, there is an app. You can control the movement and speeds, the sounds and volume, and the power. I’m not sure how useful that will be just yet, but nice to have the option. Really easy to set up and it registers the bouncer for you.
