My husband is fifo and works away for work 2-5 weeks at a time. I get sad but feel more sad for him because he misses out on so much time with our 2 year old son. When he is home though he gets equal time off so actually spends every day he is home with us

Like “Aw I miss him already” and then move on with my day sad. Not like truly emotional.
