US moms who’ll need daycare around ~3-4 months... Where are you at with your daycare search?

I recommend locking in a spot now if you need care. I wanted to put my son in daycare at 1 year and there wasn’t a spot. He didn’t get in until 15 months. I’m lucky my mom works from home so she kept him until 1 year and I’ll probably do the same with this baby.

I emailed the daycare where #1 went but they said we won’t find out more until the fall. They are trying to get a handle on covid guidelines (how that could change capacity caps) and also which other families might return (or not) in the fall. Fingers crossed #2 can go there!

Baby #2 will go where Baby #1 goes but I haven’t had a chance to do anything bc of COVID. I need to call to get on the list, because we can’t go inside the building. We have to drop off and pick-up our kiddos outside on the doorstep lol
