Uti and pregnancy

I recently got diagnosed with a uti and an antibiotic to go with it at 10 weeks and one day. I still haven’t had my pregnancy confirmation appointment yet. It’s scheduled for next week. I am a little worried that I didn’t even get to see a doctor- just did a urine test. Baby has not been checked or seen yet at all. Is this normal? Am I just being paranoid?
