Groin/pelvic pain...anybody else?

Question

35 weeks tomorrow and today I woke up feeling like someone had literally kicked me 10x in my vagina! Is this normal?? It’s pain like right in the right side of my groin/ pelvic bone, vagina area...hard to explain. It hurts when I walk and sit down on the toilet. It feels like someone is ripping my groin area apart. It’s so painful. FTM here do don’t know if this is normal? Anybody else?

Me! I’ve had the pain for a couple of months now but it’s getting a lot worse. Rolling over in bed and getting out of bed is the worst. I can’t even lift my legs to put pants on without having pain. I’ve mentioned it to my OB several times and he just doesn’t even say anything about it other than it’s normal. Baby number 5 for us and I don’t remember any of my other pregnancies causing this much pelvic discomfort. :(

I've had the same pain since 15 weeks. It's totally normal (unfortunately). The only thing that helped me is I visited a Pelvic Floor Therapist who is also a Chiropractor. I used to think Chiropractors were fake until I decided to give it a try and OMG I felt instantly better. I haven't been able to move comfortably like this since my first trimester. I would highly recommend it if you are in so much pain. I'm a yoga teacher and have done every stretch and exercise under the sun, and I've bought 2 different medical grade belts for pelvic pain and the pelvic floor therapist is the best thing I've tried. Ask your doctor or midwife for a recommendation, if they have one. My midwife recommended the same doctor she sees, and they are amazing.

This is called spd . I have it too . Cannot remember the long name but I looked into it and found things to help online ! Hope this helps .

I’m 34 weeks and I’ve been feeling the same pain like you on that area. Don’t worry about it, it means the baby’s position is head down. I use birthing ball to ease the pain and try to talk to my baby too 😊

Don’t stress it is perfectly normal my doctor said. You are lucky you only just started to feel it. I am also a ftm and have had that pain since 12weeks now 34weeks.
Excersise ball really helps
Walking even though it hurts just don’t over do it.
Chiropractor has worked wonders for me.
