Has anyone changed gp during pregnancy?

I’m 28 weeks and as much as I love my healthcare here I’ve moved to a another city and I’ve got a lot of complications with the the pregnancy which needs to be followed up and kept an eye on also gonna be given a date for a planned c section at around 37 weeks it would be so convenient to change but I’m worried that the new doctors probably wouldn’t follow up as well or by the time they get the records it will be long And they wouldn’t know my medical history as well I haven’t changed my gp in over 10 years so I guess I just don’t know how quickly or how things work yesterday went for a growth scan and baby had extra fluid around him so they gonna keep scanning me and keep a closer eye I do want to change because of the convenience but not sure what to do at the moment any advice would be appreciated x
