For 35+ ladies.

For the ladies that went through PGSD testing prior to embryo transfer, did your dr rec amniocentesis when you made it to 2nd trimester?

For those that didn’t do PGSD, was it recommended you do amnio ?

Initially I thought I had to go this route but l do not. My dr recently rec I do amnio due to age (35+). My NT and blood work were low risk. I’d like to understand if amnio is being suggested even after the embryo is tested prior to?

If the embryo is healthy enough to transfer and its a matter of development and hope it sticks, is amnio really necessary?

Please share experiences and thoughts.
