Chalazion removal surgery. Which would you do? (Read post first)

Question

I have a chalazion that needs to be removed. I’m stressing this bad. The doctor gave me the option of doing it at a surgery center where I’d be asleep under GA. 
With local it’s a needle in your eyelid twice to numb the are, they flip your eyelid inside out and cut then drain/scrape. You see the whole thing. 
Which would you do?
(Money is not a factor. Deductible has been met for the year)

Not the same, but I had lasik with local and it was no problem. It was really fast, for me it would depend on how long it takes

I had one a few years ago and my mom wouldn’t take me to get proper care, I only went to urgent care where they treated it as a stye when it obviously wasn’t one. It was huge. Luckily it got to the point where it was ready to pop, so I showered in warm water and poke a needle through it and it started oozing. Sometimes I feel like it didn’t exit all out of my eyelid but I think it’s just cause of the scar it left me. If you don’t want to be awake to see it happen then choose to be under general anesthesia.

I would totally be knocked out. I almost had a similar issue last year before my wedding after I had a stye that wouldn’t go away (luckily it did). But at one of the visits the doctor did flip my eyelid to squeeze out the fluid and it creeped me out so much so I could only imagine what it would be like foe your procedure.  Eye stuff just creeps me out!
