I wanted to get a job since I was 16 and my mom wouldn’t let me now that I’m 18 she let me apply for a job and I got accepted by the workplace and I’ve only worked a day there then she told me I would have to pay my own phone bill next month and I have to work for the rest of my life. I also asked her what about my older brother (he’s 19) and she never told him to get a job or to pay for anything himself. She also makes him food anytime he wants and even brings it to his room for him, even when he wants to order take out they’ll drive there to get it for him even though he could drive there himself. She’ll also say that when we move out it should be in a big house with a rich husband so we don’t have to work and they’ll live with me. Whenever I’m out the house she wants me to message her every few hours and when I get home from school or work she’ll tell me I shouldn’t take a nap. She’s also asked me when I’m going to get married and have babies before she dies (I just turned 18 and she’s almost 70) and she keeps pressuring me about life (work, bills, moving out, getting married, having babies) my older sister that’s 25 even has a baby and she doesn’t appreciate it but she’ll still give my sister and her boyfriend money and gifts and things for their baby then yell at them they should supply for themself. I don’t get how my mom would baby me for years then one day wang me to be grown.
