3rd degree tear anyone?

So mine didn't hurt for the first 2 weeks but now in week 3 it's stings and hurts down there. 😩 I've checked it and all looks fine (although I'm not too sure what I'm looking at ha) but when does the pain start to stop. It sux!

Dermoplast and tucks pads constantly. When you go to the bathroom spray yourself with water to dilute your urine in the bottle they have you to clean with. It'll be better by about week 4-5. Also you can open a diaper a little bit and fill it full of ice it'll double as a pad and an ice pack at the same time and it doesn't leak because the diaper absorbs the liquid.

I had a small tear that didn't bother me until like a week after delivery. It burned so bad when I peed and it would hurt. I went to the doctor to make sure it wasn't infected or anything and they said it actually looked good and was healing fine. She did say my tear was right there next to my pee hole and that there was raw tissue right there so that explained some things. But now 2.5 weeks after delivery I'm not having that problem any more. So I'm sure it's normal Good luck mama. Hope that helped

I had a third degree year and all was well for the first week. Week 2 several stitches fell out and it was awful. Good luck!

If it wouldnt of been for the dermaplast spray idk what I wouldve done. The second week was the worst! Just now starting to feel back to myself and almost a month pp.

I had a first degree tear and it only started to bother me a few weeks later. I think that when the stitches and stuff start to heal, it gets itchy and burny. It goes away though. If you use witch hazel it feels better at first.

I have a second degree tear and it seemed to be getting better. But then all of a sudden it was agony again. To the point where I could sit, stand, lay or pee. I also noticed a change in discharge and a funny smell from down there (sorry tmi) and it turned out theynsreninfected. I'm on antibiotics and now they feel a lot better. Hope you get it sorted. :)
