How accurate is a 6 week dating scan?

Question

I had an ultrasound done and it said I was 6 weeks and 6 days. They did it abdominal and not a vaginal ultrasound. I then had another ultrasound around 15 weeks and it was a few days ahead of the original date. How accurate are these early scans?

Early scans are more accurate than 2nd and 3rd term because most babies in early stages grow at the same rate it easier to track once you hit second trimester they tend to trend in their own direction but a few days here and there mean nothing a due date can be off by two weeks either direction and still be considered full term

Ish lol! 
My early scans have put me in the right week but babies are so small and they have to be in a perfect position so 9/10 my 12 week scan jumps forward 4/5 days (all pregnancies for me my dates have been more accurate than the scan dates by the time I get to 12 weeks)
