How long after birth try IVF again?

Question

Hello! I did IVF in 2019. I am pregnant with my first. Due July 4th. We only had 1 embryo from first cycle but it worked. Just wondered how long after giving birth would I have to wait to try another cycle of IVF for embryos?
Id imagine that offices wouldn’t want anyone pregnant again for 12 months, but wondered if I could still do egg collection in case it takes a few cycles. Thanks everyone for help. Sending love and baby dust to all!!

My office won’t do anything until after I stop breastfeeding.  So it might depend on how long you breastfeed.  I am in the process of weaning my 1 year old, and we are hoping to do another FET in the late summer/early fall.  If I weren’t breastfeeding I could’ve started treatments again whenever I wanted (however I had a healthy pregnancy and complication free birth).

My clinic will do transfer after 12 months for C- section and 6 months VB. Also to be done breastfeeding.

I am wondering kind of the same thing, though we have over 10 embryos at freeze, but we want to try naturally a couple of months when our first baby will be 6 months at least before doing another FET (that’s what I’ve been reading that is a minimum wait time). When I asked my RE when we can do another transfer after the baby is born (in case naturally won’t happen) , he said anytime, whenever you feel ready, but I am not sure about the retrieval, I am assuming it may also depend if you are breastfeeding or not.
