Can you dye your hair while pregnant?

So, I just wanted to know if dying your hair while pregnant is a bad thing? I really wanted to treat myself to a nice balayage for my maternity pictures and just pamper myself for the day. But before doing so, what are some risks? This is my first child and I don’t want to do anything I might regret 😬

It is generally recommended that you not due your hair when pregnant, but those studies were done using hairdressers who are exposed to the chemicals all day, everyday. 
To be on the safe side, I used henna.
