What does implantation bleeding/ spotting usually look like?

Mine was like pinkish brown and I remember thinking “what is this” because it looked different from my how AF looks when it’s first starting, I also remember thinking it was early for my period to be starting. But I put on a pad and went about my day but when I got home from work hours later nothing was there and the next day nothing. A week later I tested and got my bfp. That was 11 years ago, I had no idea what implantation bleeding even was back then lol
