Wondering the cost of what you had done and how much it was? Our first consultation appt ( we didn’t make yet ) will be $460. Wondering what to expect after that. I have two children and had an ectopic in March. They told me then I had cyst on my ovaries and a lot of scarring from my two c-sections. I’m worried my tube may be blocked or something of the sort. But anyway, wondering what all was done for you,roughly the cost and if it worked.

My insurance covers infertility diagnosis so all the preliminary testing such as blood work in the beginning, HSG/SHG/Hysteroscopy, consult, first few ultrasounds were covered. Now that I’ve been deemed to need help conceiving I have to pay all OOP. Did one IUI which was about 3k. Now onto IVF which will cost me about 16k total for everything including meds if I need a FET & 14K total if im able to attempt fresh and it works first time! 🤞🏼🤞🏼

It’s going to be really hard to answer this question because it will be entirely dependent on what you have done and if your insurance covers any of it or none of it. We did IVF, which without insurance would have cost us $30,000+. IUI is much cheaper but still relatively expensive, and can depend on if it’s a medicated IUI or not. There are a bunch of procedures your doctor may suggest prior to either of those options, and those vary widely as well. Your clinic should be able to give you a breakdown of possible future costs depending on your situation and what they might expect you will need.
