Hey everyone I need some advice. My boyfriend and I are in a long distance relationship and we have been dating for two years. I have always made my political and spiritual beliefs clear and I usually post or repost things I agree with on social media...in a respectful way of course. However, both my boyfriend’s mom and step dad follow me on Instagram and have been making extremely harsh comments to my boyfriend about what I am posting. Their beliefs/political views do not align with mine and they are trying to get my boyfriend to break up with me by talking crap behind my back. His parents do not know me well because we are long distance which is partially why they are making assumptions. I love my boyfriend so so much and we are both tired of their bs. I have a good relationship with boyfriend’s dad and stepmom but I don’t want to cause an issue between my boyfriend and his mom. Any advice?
