Birth control reset?

Hey! My husband and I have been TTC for 5 months now for baby #2. Has anyone ever tried taking the pill again to “reset” their bodies? I had a high risk first pregnancy and found out I had adenomyosis so the sooner I got pregnant off the pill the better, well it’s now been 5 months so I’m getting nervous! Let me know any stories of birth control resets or anything of the sort! Thanks ladies.

I considered it but then my period came back and my husband said we could NTNP and I don’t want to go on the pill and miss a  month or two since he will be going back to work soon.

I tried to do this before my wedding as my period was due the day before wedding and for me it was a nightmare! 
Usually the pill works for me but I had spotting/periods/blood just everything all over the shop when from 11 day ‘cycle’ to 42 days. 
Only you know your body and know if it will work for you! 
I have endo and periods are so regular, I get the same feeling of if I leave it too long tissue might build up again - I’m fresh from a lap so fingers crossed!
