I was suppose to start on Wednesday, but nothing. I thought I started Thursday, but it just ended up being a little spotting. Nothing Friday or Saturday, well until late Saturday night I thought I had started, but again just a little spotting. Woke up today (Sunday) with nothing. It’s evening now and just a little spotting.

I’ve had some of my normal pms symptoms (cramps, loss of appetite, back ache) and some different symptoms that aren’t typical (sharp tug pains near my hip bone, acid reflux).

I’m nervous to test because I don’t want to be disappointed if it is negative. My husband and I haven’t really started trying, but we are planning to TTC this year. I keep telling myself I’m sure AF will arrive any minute—likely right after I buy a test. But I’ve never experienced a period like this before. If AF does show, when would you say the period started? On the first day of spotting?
