4 hours of heavy red blood and clots and now nothing??

Hi, so I'm 9 weeks 3 days and yesterday experienced 4 hours of red bleeding and passed clots. I went to A&E and doctor confirmed the the clot I passed while waiting to be seen (smaller than a plum) was not my baby but simply clotted blood. I passed 5 smaller worm like clots throughout sunday evening. Doc said it's very very likely I'm having a miscarriage and referred me to emergency gyni. My appointment is tomorrow at 8:30am.. however since 5:30 this morning I havent bled AT ALL??? Not even a smidge when I wipe. No cramps either. This is my first ever pregnancy and I know I need to just relax and wait for the scan.. but is this normal? Anyone else been told your probably miscarrying keep an eye on your bloodless only for it to then stop?

Update: Unfortunately confirmed today by ultrasound I've had an incomplete miscarriage, despite the doctor being adamant the first clot wasnt my baby, using a negative filter on the picture I took clearly shows our little golden nugget inside measuring 8 weeks. Scan shows it's all gone bar 4cm of non tissue still to pass 😭💔
