Hi I just wanted to share that my baby boy was born Sunday and we couldn’t be happier. His due date was July 13th but on Friday I was going to the washroom and heard a big splash. There was blood so I freaked out and my fiancé called an ambulance as he was scared the baby was hurt. I got to the hospital and was 1-2cm dilated and a test showed the fluid was amniotic fluid. They had to induce to move things along but then had to stop the induction as he was coming to fast and distressed. He slowed down and I was induced again.

Because he is early and was born grunting (some type of breathing issue) as well as having too low a temperature and bilirubin levels he had to stay in NICU. He will be there at least 2 more days or longer so that’s been heartbreaking for me as I am worried about him. I burst into tears randomly throughout the day because I miss him and worry about him so much. I think my fiancé is getting frustrated that I cry so much.
