Can hypothyroidism cause low bbt?

I was born without a thyroid and I always know when my medication needs to be adjusted because my temp will dip well below 96, which is where it usually is. Even if you’re well controlled on levothyroxine people with hypothyroidism have lower temps than the “norm.” As long as your TSH, T3, and T4 are well controlled it doesn’t affect your fertility though.
