Ttc but he keeps pulling out

My husband and I planned to ttc this month but he decided to pull out today during sex I'm hoping it's just a one time thing but I will see how the rest of my fertile week goes before I talk to him about it it's quite strange though I just got my bc out in October for this right after I got it out he pulled out a few times but since the week is approaching we had a plan. I'd hate for him to have second thoughts and not tell me.
