What is considered FULL term and are you in the UK or USA

I'm hearing multiple things and its frustrating 😒. Obviously 40wks is full term without a doubt. But I see a lot saying its 37wks

At my doctors office in the US, full term is 39 weeks. Also I just googled it and it says 39 weeks as well although all doctors have not adapted to that change yet.

This is what I found and what makes sense to me. I've heard 37 called term but full term at 39 weeks. I take that as 37 is perfectly fine but isn't quite *full* term.

It can depend on if it’s your first pregnancy or not. After the first pregnancy, labor usually comes earlier than the second or more.

I’m in Canada and while 37 weeks is good since it means you can have an out of hospital birth, 39 weeks is considered full term
