Marginal Placenta Previa
At our 20 week scan, we were told that my placenta was sitting right on the edge of my cervix. They told us not to worry because in most cases the placenta would move up and out of the way. So we were to come back at 28 weeks to make sure it did. We had that follow up ultrasound this Monday, and it has not moved. Now we are supposed to go in for another follow up ultrasound in six weeks.
I was told it’s marginal, and I have been reading a little about it. I’m wondering if anyone else is experiencing this or has experienced it. Did yours move up? Were you ever put on bed rest or pelvic rest? (We weren’t told to change anything, so I’m going on as normal.). Did you deliver vaginally?
This is my third pregnancy, but I have not had this issue before.
