When to expect 1st scan?

I’m 5 weeks 3 days. Baby #1, so this is completely new to me. I called my doctors when I found out and they told me I had to self refer to the local midwife. I did that last week but still haven’t heard anything. I was wondering how long others had to wait to hear from a midwife and get a scan booked in?

I understand it’s difficult with Covid going on. I’m just so desperate to find out if everything is ok! I haven’t had any symptoms yet and it’s making me worry!
