Abnormal bleeding

Just wondering if this is normal and has happened to anyone else out there basically my periods are regular I had my last period on the 23rd of may which lasted 4 days I then began spot bleeding on 9th of June which was a dark red/brown this stopped on the 14th of june I was due to start my period on the 16th however I have started spotting again today 18th which is light red any ideas why this could be happening or has this happened to any one
