I’m a second time mom and I’m 37 weeks 3 days. I found out baby is very low and I’m 1 cm dilated. I had my appointment today and my blood pressure was 138/80 and the fetal heart rate was 124. I never had high blood pressure like that in my first pregnancy until labor or had that low of a fetal heart rate at any point. The lowest I have seen for heart rate is 146. The nurse called the numbers borderline and then my doctor came in and asked if all baby girls movements seemed normal lately. I said yes and then he said “okay. I’m satisfied then.” I asked him if my blood pressure was high to him and he said no, but I would think 138 is pretty high. Anyone else had numbers like this and did your doctor think its normal? I wouldn’t be as worried about her heart rate but he said it was on the low end of normal, but still fine. I know first and foremost to listen to my doctor and trust my instincts, but I’m just curious if anyone else has similar numbers and if their doctor wasn’t concerned.
