Unisom at 35 weeks?

For this entire pregnancy I’ve avoided taking any meds unless it was necessary and it would usually be Tylenol for pains. I use to take Unisom before pregnancy every once in a while to get some really good sleep! I’m a little tempted to take one tonight just to get some rest because I’m in so much pain, hips, back, everything hurts and Tylenol just doesn’t cut it. I’m desperate for a good nights rest. Have any of you ladies taken unisom later in your pregnancy? I’m so close now and don’t want to do anything to harm my baby.

I've been switching between benadryl and unisom. I have to take something every night or I won't sleep at all. I take unisom 2 nights in a row and then benadryl 2 nights in a row. Im trying not to become dependent on either, my dr says both drugs are safe. I had to start this pretty early on because I just stopped sleeping.

Been taking it every night for most of the pregnancy... it’s safe, just an antihistamine. And I get to sleep which is a huge plus.
