Cps help

Anyone with social work experience me please explain to me what will happen. I have a friend that will have her child taken away tomorrow because of an ex who’s been physically abusive to her but not the baby she’s a great mother she loves her child but unfortunately the social worker thinks that the baby is at risk in the house what will happen once the babies taken away ? how can she avoid getting her child taken away ? what can she do to not have a child taken away? and if she does have her child taken away what is the next step ?I’m very concerned about her the baby is premature and she loves him with all her heart she’s a great mom unfortunately her ex is abusive. She does not want to lose her baby and she wants to keep the baby safe she will get rid of her ex she just doesn’t know how To avoid getting her baby taken away please any advice I can give her will help! Unfortunately the babies only three months I’m so sad and scared for him.
