Nuna pipa/mixx or a less expensive travel system?

Are high end strollers and car seats worth it? I’m looking at that or the Evenflo Pivot system.

We bought the nuna pipa lite and tavo stroller travel system which is a little cheaper than the system with the mixx, and oh my gosh it’s incredible. The nuna pipa lite is literally like 5 lbs, the lightest car seat on the market, and the stroller is incredible quality. I don’t regret spending extra money for the quality at all. I don’t feel like it was just for “designer looks” but the extra money spent definitely paid off for the better quality.

I used to think higher quality strollers was more of a “designer” thing and to show off “look what I’ve got”. But then a sibling purchased a mima xari stroller ($2000 for a stroller?!!).... and I have to say I was impressed. That stroller has been through hell and back and it still functions the way it should. 
It’s sort of like when you buy $15 make up instead of the $60 bottle, and at the end of the day you realize you bought the $15 bottle 3 times over so you might as well have just paid the $60 to begin with.
If you will be using the stroller occasionally, I do not recommend paying premium dollar for a stroller.
If you will be using it daily on walks, going through different terrains like gravel and parks etc where you’re be abusing it, then it might be something you should look into in investing 
Whatever you choose to do, just make sure that you get a car seat that is compatible with your stroller. Makes it super convenient when traveling with the car. Baby in the car seat... you just unclip, pick up the car seat with baby in it and clip it into the stroller. Win win

Following! I’m thinking the same thing. I have looked at so many all at different prices and levels. Lol. Our parents had it easy where they just bought whatever lol 😂
