Did any of you take baby aspirin to prevent preeclampsia? Was it effective?

Thanks for all comments ! I asked because I’m now 30w2d with twins , no signs of preeclampsia at all & was wondering if it was truly necessary . I don’t think I’m going to start taking them unless I see a spike in blood pressure

I take it per recommendation from my specialist but it is taken for blood clots when having multiples.

I did but still developed preeclampsia at 29 weeks.

My doctor told me they are recommending it for everyone now, not just multiples. She said there’s an uptick in preeclampsia and they don’t know why, so they’re trying this baby aspirin route. It’s never been studied in pregnancy so I’m not taking it. I am taking a couple of natural supplements tho. I’m on my 8th pregnancy (1st set of twins) and I’ve never had gestational diabetes or preeclampsia so hopefully this time I won’t either. At my 24 week appointment my BP was 100/60. I’d hate to make it go lower lol I decided if my Bp did start climbing, then I’d maybe take it, but not going to start yet.

I'm taking 2 per day, so far 26 weeks and still have low blood pressure about 110/75. It only shot up last time at 38/39 weeks with pre-eclampsia eventually so we'll see!

I am currently. Had preeclampsia with my son. I'm 36 weeks tomorrow with twins. So far, no preeclampsia. My BP is starting to go up a bit though, and I discontinue the baby aspirin tomorrow, I assume since I'm having a csection and the doc wants to reduce bleeding? 
I still feel like I'll probably end up with it. ☹️ BUT I'm really grateful to have made it this far without it!
