Confused

I've had 7 cycles now. This last cycle my son got sick and wanted to nurse for 6 days straight about a week after I got a positive opk. I started to spot light brown for three days, 6 days after my positive opk. I thought maybe it was early implantation bleeding so 9dpo I took a pregnancy test. It came back negative. I started to spot again a few days later. Again brown and not enough to need a pad. Spotting lasted two days. I'm now on cd30, 14days past ovulation. I didn't want to waste money on another test only to see another negative 7 months in a row. I had opks lying around and thought eh why not see what's going on. It was negative a few days ago and when I tested this morning it was positive. I'm now two days late. My cycle is usually early and heavy. I'm not sure if I'm only going to spot and not have a period because my son went those few days glued to my boobies. Should I pick up an hcg? If my son fed long enough to make me skip a period should I even have that much lh in my system?
