Musculum Contagiosum

Have any if your kids ever suffered from this? My daughters started as small white bumps behind her knee about 6 months ago but in the past couple weeks they have gotten way worse. I took her to the pediatrician and she said they are actually healing and to just leave them be. That her body is finally fighting them off. But they just look sooo bad to me. There are definitely less bumps then there were before but they just look so angry. 😩Should I get a second opinion?
